Our Story
My name is Andy, and together with my wife, Brittany, we launched A to B Mobile Repair LLC in 2021. After we both served more than a decade in the Army and moved across the country, we finally settled here to build something rooted in community. With over 15 years of experience as a mechanic—and countless hours spent fixing vehicles in the field—I saw a need for a more convenient, honest alternative to the traditional auto shop. While mobile service was common in industries like agriculture and commercial fleets, everyday drivers rarely had access to it. That’s where A to B was born.
We’re building a team dedicated to providing affordable, transparent repairs right at your doorstep, because these days everything else comes to you—why not your mechanic? Beyond repairs, I’m passionate about teaching people about their vehicles, helping them understand how they work and how to keep them running longer. Our mission is simple: to deliver fast, reliable service while empowering our community with knowledge, trust, and convenience.

Owner/Mechanic
Andrew Bakos
Andy grew up working on cars with his dad. He has worked as a mechanic for 15+ years and held positions with John Deere and was a fleet mechanic for several companies. He was an Army Mechanic for 10 years which gave him field experience and made him an adaptable mechanic. He was also an EMT for several years and held many odds and ends jobs.
Andy has a lot of mechanical knowledge and is a great mechanic. However, his real passion is helping people and teaching. He enjoys teaching people about their vehicles and how to properly maintain them.
Owner/Service Advisor
Brittany Bakos
Brittany manages the day-to-day operations in the office. She answers the phone, does scheduling and gets quotes. Prior to working with the business full time, Brittany worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital lab. She also served in the Army for 12 years as a medical lab tech.
When the business started, she had no mechanical knowledge and had to learn as she went. Through repetition and assisting with jobs, she is now able to work in the shop doing routine jobs and assist with diagnostics.
